1125 cr small inspection

after heating up , drain the oil right away

moving on to the rear.. checking the wheel bearings

bike has been driven in the winter , our roads are heavely salted... no good for metal parts.. and everything corrodes

bearings are done to

as are the rear brake pads

shiny.. cleaned the rear axle an coat with some grease before mounting

old brake pads.. pull the lip on the pads in

so you can push the pad out the spring clip

front end check up , bearings are ok

tighen the caliper

and axle

the bike had a knock when breaking.. knocks only ones... sounds like steering head bearings need retightening .. loosen the lower triple t clamps with the front off the bike still supported

loosen the pinch bolt

remove the handle bar clamp to get to the stem nut , loosen this and retighten

pinch bolt back in, and tighten the lower triple t clamps

bike back on its wheels, preload the suspention and tighten the axle pinch bolts

change brake fluid

bugger... will mount new screws

and change the clutch fluid.. .the one that really gets dirty

and change the rear brake fluid

running the engine to temp.. checking the charging ok..

and oil level check

and resetting the service counter

m2 carb. checking the idle adjustment.. cold .... burned my wrist to many times
;-)

idle adjuster is almost turned fully open.. still would not run nice... carb off to check the jetting, draining the bowl..

stock slow jet 42 .. will go to 45 , and put a 190 main in

2,5 turns... base setting

and back on the bike to check... running... perfect...

good idle adjustment.. and runs very smooth

so airfilter back on and test ride
:-)

very nice XB9Sx in for check up...

removing the covers while draining

side stand bolt... yep is loose

turn the bolt out for cleaning

clutch back in with fresh oil

front plug out from below

pivot cleaned, red loctite on the treads, and grease on the bolt

pulling the spring back on

nice bikes .. tryning to keep it nice to.. removing the caliper to check the rear wheel , protect it

rear wheel bearingsa are ok ..

rear wheel up. checking the primary chain

ill say a little loose
;-)

fresh plug in the front one

and filling oil

nice , new pully cover on

do the lower bolt and spacer last, as you can slide these in from below

rear spark plug.. mnn will need a new cable to , pulled the booth off the plug

new plug in

and airbox back on

front end check , we need to replace the pads.. so loosen the pin

and pinch bolts loose

i think this is the first time this axle came out ... i will grease it a little for protection

disk was warped.. i will replace it for our disk

nice
:-) and brakes very good

bolts to 35 Nm

new disk new pads.. please do

caliper bolts back on

and TQ to 50 Nm
