9-7-2014 Buell Xb9S, XR1200X, Xb12X, Xb9-12.

29-1-2015 - Buell Xb9S trouble starting. XR1200X, crash patch up. Buell Xb12X, crash damage repair. Buell Xb9-12 conversion.

Buell Xb9S trouble starting, and leaks, customer brought in his bike, not or hard starting and cutting out, now the cutting out was most likely the battery connection as is was loose, the bad starting , let us measure things.

 

Buell Xb9S trouble starting, and leaks, neutral switch has to much resistance, the light will still burn, but the start circuit will not work properly.

 

XB9 2003 , small pully, neutral switch is really easy.

Buell Xb9S trouble starting, and leaks, the oil leak is from the oil line fitting for the oil cooler, as they have become loose, hard to reach with headers on, but can be done.

 

Buell Xb9S trouble starting, and leaks, the connector for the oil line was loose, take it out and clean.

 

Buell Xb9S trouble starting, and leaks, and some fresh sealing loctite on, and screw it back on, to the right angle for the oil line , so there is no to little tension.

 

Buell Xb9S trouble starting, and leaks, the feed nipple to the oil cooler was also loose, in this case you need to remove the oil filter to get to it in a good way.

 

Buell Xb9S trouble starting, and leaks, front brake pads almost gone... customer did not noticed this yet... we will put some new ones in.

 

XR1200X, crash patch up, the lever assembly has developed a nice road rash, as the customers budget is little at this time, we will try to patch it up a little.

XR1200X, crash patch up, i have done it a few times, and know theres marking on the wheel, better safe than sorry , mark the wheel rotation, as it is hard to see.

 

XR1200X, crash patch up, new tyre on, clean axle and lube it up.

 

XR1200X, crash patch up, wheel back in, calipers on.

 

XR1200X, crash patch up, and tighten the pinch bolt after loading the front suspention a few time.

 

XR1200X, crash patch up, las thing, new shifter too peg on.

Buell Xb12X, crash damage repair... front fork seals where also leaking hard, and wheel bearings needed replacement.

Buell Xb9-12 conversion, bike is not really running nice after running in with the bored cylinders. hard to find problem on the dyno, checking the basics again.

Buell Xb9-12 conversion, and the light is working, ok fix the connector, and start to morrow with compression check and leak test.
