X1 headers, old hard ware, common problem on the tube frame oem headers the pipe ends are butted , over tightening the exhaust flanges will bend the c-clips and in the end slide over the pipe ( what happened here ) — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.


X1 headers, disiding what model gaskets to use, flat ones , or tapered ones... the flat ones will give absolute no exhaust alingment by playing a little with the tension on the nuts, on tube frame models you really want to tbe able to aline the front collector so the exhaust front mounting point is tension free, so tapered gaskets it is — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
