19-6-2019 - What did we do today: Buell XB9SX service + fuel pump fix, EBR 1190 last things
new owner.. and has done some km this year with here new bike.. so time to give the bike a big inspection — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
low level fuel light point off attention.. even when full— at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
as we need to take out the fuel pump , i remove the left foot peg bracket — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
while she is warming up to drain the oil , checking the battery
old model side stand pin.. check please
this one is loose , and will work it's way out left like this
threads are ok.. so will give it a clean and put some red loctite on
drain plugs back in
gearbox oil in and adjusting the clutch mechanisme
engine oil in the swingarm
loosening the rear axle — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
old oil filter of and primed and wet the seal on the new filter before mounting
checking the primairy chain tension.. take 3 points to check and adjust to the tightest
shift lever bolts are still tight .. give the lever a rattle you feel if screws are loose
front spark plug from below
cleaned the side stand pin and side stand.. redloctite on the threads
side stand mouned back , and pulling the spring in place
checking rear wheel... bearing perfect ( replaced theme this summer )
but the belt is starting to show cracks

always a hard call to make, advising and contacting the customer.. this belt is a gamble how long it stil lasts
anyway .. engine supported and losening the swing arm pich bolt

using the diagnostic software to prime the pump , but you can easy give the pump a ground signal so the pump starts to run — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

unscrewing the allen bolts — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

a little wiggle and the pump come out, note some fuel will leak — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

some heat shrink hose will do perfect to give these wires protection — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
low level sensor , to much work to leave it in, as they fail often .. so replace this one to — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
you see the old o-rings already gettig swolen .. replace these.. when swollen about impossible to mount it — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
new o-rings and little mounting grease on these to protect during mounting — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
pulling the pump in evenly with the allen screws — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

and swing arm axle in.. can be fidely to put this one in — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

i noticed the tps sensor loom was not ziptied to the fuel rail.. so i'doing this now.. less vibration in the sensor wire connection, makes theme live longer — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

wheel bearings , perfect — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

protect and clean the cap nuts .. to put some electro isolation tape on — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

fork oil changes and leg back in, check the wires are not pinching to the handle bar — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

little repair in the rivet nuts , to pull it tighter , as it turned with the screw — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

fuel back in.. the translucent cover is virgin like.. so i mount this as last... fuel drops will mark the cover — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
use the spacers and foam rings for the translucent body parts , spacer and foam ring from below — atTwin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
screw and other foam ring to mount it — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
checking.. take about 15-20 seconds for the low level circuit to react — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
