24-11-2017 XB12Sx damage repair, XB9R shifting pro

16-1-2018 - What did we do today: 24-11-2017 Buell XB12SC damage repair, Buell XB9R shifting problems, engine break down.

this bike was waiting on time and parts... no to repair the damages —

airscoop of 

oil cooler is also dammaged

as is the front fork / fender 

ok of with the oil cooler 

did not leak .. but very much damages

new one on with new fittings

lining up the rear support 

and frame puck off 

when mounted very good.. it is a pain in the bottom to remove this..

wheel out and front leg out

head light is also dammage 

lower triple t is also dammaged so dash of and free the cables

ignition switch off 

the 2 middle bolts are security bolt T45 with hole

handle bar off and triple plate loose 

lower out

and new one in .. putting a pittle grease on the stem to prevent corrosion 

put the legs in to line up the triples

and tighen the stem nut ( lower triple clamp bolts are still loose )

handle bar on

and electrics back in 

wheel back in

and pich bolts in

new front fender 

throttle cables back in the grip and tighten the reasr cap

handle bar.. clutch switch cable on

dash back on , leaving the rear nut / rubber on and slide it in place

and head light in — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

bottum headlight screw.. put some never seas on it.. they corrode to easy in the headlight

degrease and prime the frame to put the puck on

for the better protection

let scoop line up the wireharness clips , as they go in the holes — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

and new clutch lever on — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

mirror mounted — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

and adjusted — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

setting the suspention on the new leg.. compairing to the old of course, test ride — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

time to remove the engine and check what the no shifting problem is — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

bike tail in the hoist and flat jacks supporting the engine — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

has been sweating on places the owner could not clean ;-) i will make it like new again — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

intake manifold off , defenaly leaking seals — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

rockers off and pulling out the pushrods — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

some leaking at the rear.. easy to see when you remove the startermotor — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

some small markings.. could not feel it yet with nail rubbing over it — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

2e compression ring is a indicastor on wear.. this is halfway down — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

so seal out.. knock a old flat screw driver in works easy — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

little cleaning the the seal race / pully spacer — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

some play noticeble , wil advise to replace this one.. way to much work when this one needs to be replaced — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

primairy tensioner needs replacement — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

ok gearbox out... knocking out the shifter fork sliding rods — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

3e fork.. is fubar — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

the other ones are ok — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

3e gear has some over heating signs , but looks good.. in the shifter fork groove is some fork material left.. need to see if i can clean this — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

counter and main shaft pressing out.. put a ziptie on the mainshaft . so the gear douse not fall of — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
