XR1200 making beter , common problem next to the rust.. the X pipe rattles out , here tried to fill the wobbled out pipe connections with kit and strips off cut beer cans , as the headers are moving with the engine, and the muflers are fixed to the frame the conecting piece is the weak point and will wear out the pipe flanges , even rattle through the pipes :-X

XR1200 making beter... wow.... i know aluminium pulleys wear out quickly, really this one needs replacement fast !! belt will slip or wear out very hard... to bad we don't have this one in stock at the moment , as we about never needed to replace a steel one
XR1200 making beter , exhaust studs... how a 3 hour job will take the reast off the day.. new stud screwed in , but would not hold the threads in the head where gone... i could not even get the new one out as it was spinning, needed to break it to have a drilling point
XR1200 making beter , drilling jig mounted , and my special made dril bits ( 8mm seamless pipe and 6.3 mm dril bit welded on it ) so i can dril from a distance so the machine will not hit the head
XR1200 making beter , the drilling jig works nice , but tapping to 5/16-18 the first part was good but deeper in the head it was to wide ... ooh joy

XR1200 making beter, bike has been thinkered with... running bad... sparkplug way to white... (lean fuel condition) no O2 sensors... and following a usb lead... to find a power commander, shees... something about making a very nice injection system run like crap... with the powercommander. First thing we did removed the power commander, O2 sensors in and a good fuel mapping with 02 sensors connected and a TTS Matertune tune made on our dyno for this setup... this bike will run so much better. This customer will be a verry happy one. for the first time a powerful XR1200 (-:
