14-8-2018 - What did we do today: 13-4-2018 Buell 1125CR big inspection belt change

1125 Cr from Germany in for a 20000 km check 

letting here warm up to drain the oil

remvoing the panels .. air filter has been eating dirt

right side drain

left side drain plug out careful as it flows out with force 

new oil filter on 

drain plugs back in 

and checking the rear wheel 

 

 pinch bolt is 10 mm

and the axle was tight... breaker bar needed 

rear caliper bolts loose 

i will change these pads, as they will not last long 

bearing.. 20000 km in douse not feel good.. and need to replace the belt.. take no change and replace the bearings

belt is starting to wear.. customer want no change.. so replace now 

remove the swing arm piece 

notch in the front pully to let the belt out 

footpeg bracket bolts need to come out 

and this one

to turn the footpeg assembly and swap the belt 

new one on

new bearings 

now first the swing arm piece back in 

and fight the rear axle to get the wheel in.. new belts are very tight 

turn the wheel tightening the axle to spread the tension 

old pads.. lift and push to the rear 

new pads.. the spings are very tight 

helps mounting to give theme a little loosening

new pads in place

and caliper mounting..

exhaust need to come of for engine rotation 

first fill the oil 

airfilter base plate of, i like to leave the airfilter in 

so all the dirt and swallowed bugs do not get bumped in the throttle bodies

loosening the custom side pods

radiator just hangs on the little bracket

aaahhh mounting nut is loose rom the polyester and is turning with the screw — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

3 hand job holidng pliers.. turning the screw and taking pictutes — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

radiators loose, and clutch lever loose to give the line more room — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

before rotating the engine loosen the rear O2 sensor connector — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

and pull the O2 sensor wire out so this has room to move — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

i did not find the coil connector lock very secure.. so secured with ziptie.. way to much work to connect this when it pops off — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

start tightening right side ( engine to the frame with out sliding spacers ) — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

expoxy 2k to fix the nuts tot he body work — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

bumping the legs a few times and tighten the pinch bolts — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

as i could not get the pipes in good.. loosened the mullfer , and mounted the pipes first — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

cleaning the air filter — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

olied and mounted — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

clutch fluid replacement — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

and fresh brake fluid — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

hit mode to you get service counter , and press toggle to reset — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
