bike can do with a very good clean.. but first the basics , and make accesment
tyres are gone to .. 8 years old ,
battery is dead.. off course...
with jump battery on... fuel pump stil works.. and only the oil pressure switch is not working, will see if this comes by warming up the bike
peeew... fuel smels like paintstripper .. and half full.. ( condensation is a problem , watter collecting in the fuel tank ) i will take out the old fuel and check the pump first
front .. disk corroded to the pads
sorry state off everything...
common.. on race exhaust they will corrode , the first ones had really bad coating on theme
new one for me... rot between te fins

ok first look behind the cover
and take the rear wheel out
rear brake needs a overhaul
belt.. meeehh not really reliable
as wear cracks are forming
idler bearings are also dry
wheel bearings are ok
wheel bearings are ok
sharp and squired teeth.. will make the new belt wear very fast.. will advice to replace the rear
front one is also about worn out
teeth are marking up already.. added to the list
tyres.. i would not camble on these anymore ,

fuel line hooked on drain hose
and pump the tank empty.. you can also short the fuel pump to ground to keep it running , i use the fuel pump test

and fuel line off , some fuel will drain from this
now first the swingarm axle .. loose , loosen the pinch bolt
i will clean and lube this one.. had some locked and nuts turning stories heard.. pain in the ass when that happens
swing arm loose , weight of the bike supported off course
rear schock loose so to make room to get the fuel pump out
srews out and use the center thread hole for a hold on to pull it out

new model pump wire protection was already added in the factory
pressure filter of and pre filter , we going to change bough
follow the arrow for the correct flow direction
new o-ring on the base plate
the pressure seals are hard and starting to crack already.. put new one in.. loss off fuel pressure is the next problem other wise
the correct part number for the pressure seals
ready to go on , some silicone grease to lube it up
and pump assembled
use the 4 screws to evenly pull the pump in
dyelectic grease on the connector,
o-ring grease on the o-rings and push the fuel line on and tighten the lock nut

with out the belt on tight the main shaft and gear box will turn.. so the oil spatters up to lube — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

very low tps compaired to rpm will give it also away— at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
oil pressure switch defenaly don't want to play.. needs a new one — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

mnn.. nice brass insert.. pitty it is solid.. and lever needs to roted on the bolt.. — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

as i can not tighten the bolt now, ( the lever will not move ) some red loctite on the bolt to hold it — atTwin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
