13-3-2019 X1 problems XB regulator S3 check
19-12-2019 - What did we do today 13-3-2019 : Buell X1 rear brake bracket, pully and ignition switch, Buell XB 2008 regulator and Ecm , Buell S3 check up and steering head bearings
on with the X1 , heat cylcle — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
and while she cools of , some attention to the rear brake
as the bracket is worn out, and pad pin almost hits the brake disk
wheel out
the rear pully is also worn out.
loosen the bolts
and a new 61 T pully on
red loctite
and 80 Nm on these
the worn out sliding pin hole
new bracket on place
the metal slide plate was not on the bracket for a long time , note the wear marks the pads made
setting belt tension , this is to tight !!!! best to check loaded !!
tighen the axle
greasing up the sliding hole
the old rubber has become to big
fresh one in
i will replace the pads to , as these are worn under a angle

the regulator was giving way to much volts.. and not sure what happened, but the ecm is also bricked ( could also be bad software ) anyway metric screws in the left scoop ? — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

regulator with the heat cracks in the back.. works ok like 70 % of the time .. the 30% or not charging or giving a voltage spike over 18 volts — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

noticed the crushed wire mounted badly .. as this is only the crank sensor.. have a check — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

first.. choke cable douse not stay out.. the little nut at the front , you can set the tension on the cable .. easy fix — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

the design of this cable makes it very hard to adjust properly , as there is very little free play.. best to pull the cable out the lever — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

checking the primairy chain.. 1 stuborn bolt ... tapping a tq bit on to get it out — at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
