15-8-2017 - What did we do today: 5-7-2017 Buell XB9S 2003 belt, Buell X1 heat cycle, Buell 1125 no charge, Buell XB no charge , Buell X1 not running

remove the spacer to free the belt guards — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

new belt on the pullys now first the swing arm brace in — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

clean the screws and some neverseas — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

and tension the belt — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

before you put the foot peg plate on, the belt guards on — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

and tighen the pich bolt — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

lick off neverseas on the screws for longer lasting pleasure — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

the 2003 have a metal protection plate behind the pully cover, hold this in place when you tighten the cover — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

clean bolts from old loctite — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

clean and check.. these sprag clutches wear out fast when you run a bad / low battery — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

pre oil the sprag an put it back in — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

place the rotor.. and turn the sprag so the bolt holes line up — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

you see the oiljet ? 12 o clock .. bolts in with Loctite— bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

a bed off silicone to help against rubbing wires — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

remove the pully cover..and locate the stator plug — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

volt meter to AC checking the lead pairs...no charge— bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

quick check if the regulator is ok — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

with the volt meter in diode check one way it should give the test voltage the meter gives — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

and swap the terminals around — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

the diode should block and give no reading, do this for all the leads.. regulator is ok.. i fear the stator that was replaced by the HD dealer a year ago... had a issue with the wire bridge and destroiyed the stator again. we will see — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

the injector test showed a little spry on the injectors. but very little, with a little puff off brake clean in the intake the bike will run.. — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
