30-7-2014 Dyno, 1125 intake stacks, XB oil pump.

1-8-2014 - XB9SX Dyno tuning. 1125R , fuel mapping and intake stacks. XB12X 2008, looking at the speedo. Buell Xb12S 2004, oil pump gear check.

XB9SX Dyno tuning, Customer brought his bike over from Germany, to dyno tune his bike.

XB9SX Dyno tuning, first we check the basics before tuning, the bike has to be in good condition , intake seals are ok.

 

XB9SX Dyno tuning, little low on Oil, will ad some , all looks good, now to mount our measuring headers.

XB9SX Dyno tuning, small tip when you place the headers back, make sure the O2 sensor wire is on top and free, the wire can easy become snagged in the header port.

 

XB9SX Dyno tuning, i love it when people use loctite on fine treads , you turn the studs out so easy .

 

XB9SX Dyno tuning, loosened the nuts, and put red loctite on the studs , rebuild the basics, and she is ready for the dyno.

 

1125R , fuel mapping and intake stacks, customer is driving with a termignini, but the bike stutters when pulling full throttle, ok will make him happy.

 

1125R , fuel mapping and intake stacks, checking the throttle bodies the left airfilter thread nut came out.

1125R , fuel mapping and intake stacks, and fuel mapping in, no more stuttering, i advised the customer to remove the DB killer, as i could feel it was blocking the power.

 

XB12X 2008 customer dropped in with a error light, not active but wanted to know what it was , ( IAC to many steps )

 

XB12X 2008, looking at the speedo, ok yeah can happen, if it becomes irritating and idle will hunt , he will come in for a new IAC solinoid ( intake air control = idle rpm regulator )

Buell Xb12S 2004, oil pump gear check, looks like on one side more than half the teeth are worn down, in contact with the customer we are going to replace the gear.
