very clean XB12Sx 2010 in for service check up
battery cables always check these
after a little running, drain the oil
and changing the oil filter
nice 2010 3 bearing wheel..
still i like to check it , no dought these are ok
exhaust has been scraping
the 2010 rear axles are black
adn the wheel have a extra dust seal , and 2 bearings at the pully side , 1 on the disk side
disk side aswell has a spacer ring for the seal ,
wheel back in, checking the primary chain
needed a little adjustment
covers and brackets back on
loose grip ... don't like theme
some thin glue will fix this
indicator half broken off , easy fix, these stems come as spare part
full..? naaah just a little crowded
indicator out to replace the stem
eveything back on , and wiping my greasy fingers off the screen
front end check , just to be sure, bearings ok
replacing the brake fluid front
and rear
and letting here warm up for oil level check
on the side stand ... perfect
and test ride :-) before she is ready for here owner
XB9SX making things black , the powder coated parts are back... thinker time
engine supported and remove the front bolt
header...nice
flanges on
O2 sensor in, and header on the bike
while we are here... change the plugs the easy way
fresh plugs in
engine up and tq the front mount to 66 NM
W-brace tight and connect the connectors
the cover bolts are corroded by chemical agents in, i suspect the cleaner soap
but gives me a change to put some nice accent ones on
oils out
while draining putting back some other pieces from the coater
gearbox oil back in
and engine oil back in.. nice fuller cap... shame they are no longer made
some other parts from the coater

powder coating is a thick coating.. for some things you would be needing to remove this for things to work..
i know i need the remove the coating on the surface where the pivot bushing rests other wise the lever will jam
shiftlever.. lets try
pivot bushing in ... you see it sticking out a little... will give no issues binding
lever on the shaft
right side brake pedal
rear wheel check ... ok
this one needed to be come back to... but is not to be powder coated , as the backing will melt the plactic bushings in the joints

wheel bearings are ok
wheel back in and tighten the axle to 55 NM
brake fluid replacing

first run... with new coated parts , don't over heat it right away,

some repairs made , and exhaust back on

look good in my book... perhaps a little lean.. but that is depening on the use off a cleaner ?
leaking shifter seal

old seal out and new seal in
use some never seas on the shaft
front end check , as the customer felt the steering head bearings ,
wheel bearings are ok
with out forks and wheel.. you really feel it, the steering head bearings are on there way out and are notchy feeling
front ens needs to come off.. and will replace the horn as the brackets broke off
stripping down the front end
special t45 temper proof bit to unscrew the steering lock
marking the handle bar position
and the triple t can come off
little tapping further.. old bearings out
and new ones ready to go in
the high side ( long race ) needs to stick out , on bought sides
triple back in , put the fork legs in before you tighen the stem nut , to aline the front
mounting back the pieces
wheel back in
and back on bought wheels , enough for to day
