X1 rear pully is worn out... and eats belts time to replace it
size 36 to loosen and remove the nut and axle
sharp edges and coating gone
yep... works better like this... these can be a bitch to loosen
fresh and new reproduction pully on
red loctite and nuts back in
fideling belt on and spacer in place
axle in and adjusterplates on
nut just on... now first set the belt tension , measure left and right so the wheel is straight
new belt , it will need some checking after 1500 km
Uly big inspection and service
taking the airbox cover off... mnnn never seen that bolt come loose ? will first check the rest
running here warm to drain the fluids
it was idling at 1500 rpm... mnnn i reset the tps
and check the intake seals...it idles already normal after the tps reset, and no reaction on the leak test
chin spoiler off... always the 1 metric screw that makes you look for tools ( not the normal T27 )
motor spoiler bracket off , to replace the oil filter
fuilds are drained , clutch inspection cover off
mnnn engine oil drain plug... has some metal dust on it ... but we don't know how long this oil is in ( i think way to long ) so i will clean this and make a note, to check this the next time , to determen when it is smart to strip the engine
the cable is sweating oil on the connection between the cable outer and the fitting in the cover
crappy solution for a broken cable bracket.. cable is burned by the header
and a non standard bolt is used for the front tierod
i loosen the clutch cable to remove it
we sell heat shink tube with a heat activated glue layer, a good solution to repair a sweating clutch cable , when you heat it , start in the middle and work to bought ends... so you see the glue comming out.. to ensure the bonding is oil tight
