clean the threads in the nut , and a drop off red loctite — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
26 NM and 19 deg... comes down to about 55-58 NM — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

rear mount back on .. red loctite .. use a cut allen key to tighten ..speed sensor mounted not to leave holes open — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
now to make it a more stabil to work on.. everytime i want to make a engine stand.. but i'm so use to it like this on the work bench and it works the easiers for me . with the exhaust bracket on the engine will stand sturdy — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

now to clean... first step.. hot soapy watter ... and scrub theme many times... check with clean rag it douse not pick up any black hone grit / oil — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
after you cleaned it so good.. you need to whipe some light oil in right away.. the surface and the super degreasing will corrode looking at it .. do not leave this surface un protected , you see in the picture this is 5 minutes and you see already a little brown corrosion .. while with oil right away — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

checking double checking the new pins are a hair thicker,, as i expected.. the fitment with the stock pins was to loose.. with the new pins.. sliding perfection — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

put some rags in the case.. when you mount the piston pin clip ... so it will not fall in to easy — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
first cylinder down. and temperary screw it down before i mount the rear cylinder.. as i do not want theme banging up and down on the case — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
don't forget the base gasket... yes been there done that ;-) — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
bought on now first the pushrod covers — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
as these need to be mounted before the heads go on — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
pushrod cover o-rings first in the head — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
while a little oil on the top of the cover , and push the head on the cover first — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
than look for the head gasket position pins — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
head bolts... oil on the flats and drop off oil on the threads.. so they will get there TQ right — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

funny how some bike leave the markings unharmed, and others with less Km it is whiped off completely— bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
rocker box on.. slowly thighten.. try to hold the cover as level as posible .. better for the bolts — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
