28-5-2015 - Buell XB12 with a big bore kit, making it run for the first time.

XB9Sx big service check up, put a new one on, and a little hydraulic seal loctite to prevent it from sweating.

XB9Sx big service check up, stock filters best to remove with a band key as the housings are very weak.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, gear box oil back in to level, hook the clutch mechanime back in out side the gearbox , and adjust the clutch ( loosen the outer cable adjuster first )

 

XB9Sx big service check up, primairy tension way to tight... check this on 3 places on the chain , as the tension can vary.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, take off the rear caliper for rear wheel removal.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, mnnn will do, but keep a eye out on belt ware.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, rear wheel bearings are done.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, new bearing in, and axle cleaned and lubed.

XB9Sx big service check up, remove the airbox completely and clean the base plate.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, rear plug in with extenstion piece and wobble joint.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, check the plug wires, by removing theme.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, front one isolation almost done, rear one connector corroded, will replace bought.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, air filter base plate back on.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, airfilter cleaned and recharged with filter oil.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, ready for turn around and do the front end.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, i like to loosen all bolts with the front wheel still on the ground , as this is more stable.

XB9Sx big service check up, before you take off the top cap off the fork, check the settings.

XB9Sx big service check up, set the front legs by pushing the suspention a few times , and than fasten the pinch bolts.

 

XB9Sx big service check up, front brake fluid , also clean the compensation rubber ( brake fluid will go though it in the long run )

Xb big bore making it run , air scoop was also riding a little close to the header, and i think the pipes where red hot.

 

Xb big bore making it run , ok engine supperted, and loosened the mount bolt, you should be able to spin it out by hand, if the rubber is not loaded.

 

Xb big bore making it run , headers off, and wil be mounting our mesuring headers.
