7-8-14 Xb problems, 1125 rotor , M2 carb rejet.

28-1-2015 - Buell Xb cooling fan / rocker box gaskets / Oil leak and more problems. Buell 1125 rotor upgrade. Buell M2 carb rejetting.

XB9R, running not really nice , and big stutter @ 4000 rpm , customer came all the way from Belgium, and had rebuild the engine him self , but was not running correctly.

 

XB9R, running not really nice , common problem with the 2003 model intake throttle bodies, nut come out, will fix the pcv valve to.

 

XB9R, running not really nice , after checking the obvious, check for odd ball things... i know this stutter @ 4000 rpm could be injector wires put on wrong... quick look under the airbox... yep they are on wrong... bike will idle rough but not really bad..

XB9R, running not really nice , glued the nuts back in the stack and put in on right , and took here for a test ride, a little noisy, but about all 2003 engines are ( and with 50K + ) but no stutter or back fire any more.

 

XB9SX, after dyno rebuild ,bike was ready from the dyno, now to make it ready for the customer.

 

XB9SX, after dyno rebuild, we like to mount our own testing headers on bike for the dyno... so we can measure very good ( we found the spampling methode has also it limits ) , and the 2008 -up headers are so thin walled that we have prepared a set off our own with 2 O2 sensor ports on theme.

1125 CR, oil leak, battery problems, will first do the rotor upgrade, and clean the bike and take here for a spin to see where the oil is comming from.

1125 CR, oil leak, battery problems, but clean the flat mounting surface off the sprag clutch, usueal there is some loctite on there.

Buell M2, change jetting for TQ hammer , with the carb off the float bowl needs to come off the the main jet, the little screw on the back will drain the float bowl through the hose.

Buell M2, change jetting for TQ hammer , air filter on, and test ride.. to find all the work on the gearbox has not helped ( perhaps a little )
gearbox will still not shift really nice into 1 gear while hot and standing still.
