XB12R TLC, men o men, is the stainless fender screws bind ( they do frequently use the old TQ head as centering point , and if that douse not work, drill off the head, remove the fender and turn the front leg around , and start drilling from the other side , 95% change you remove the screw as the bolts heats up and gets friction from from drilling.
XB12R TLC, customer also asked why his clock and odo meter resetted after starting, i explained bad battery, "but this is only 1 year old " yes but it was bad to start with , Buell likes good batteries , the acid ones are short time mony savers, in the long run, you can better buy a good battery that will last 6 to 7 years.
XB12R TLC, low on cold start capacity , will drop below 10 volts during starting, resetting the odo meter and clock.
