nice clean bike

lets start wtith the basics anf tighten the battery cables

checking the sparkplg cables.. left scoop needs to be removed... missing one screw so far

version 2 model spark plug cable these are old...

little spray test with some watter... yep front one cuts out

could not do a test for the intake seals .. i will first make here run on 2 cylinders

something we need to do witht he next service, the front engine mount is sagging

but first... airbox off

and front cable ... that this still worked is a wonder to me

about complete rubbed through

i will put in new plugs to..

rear plug in

new cables on.. point the cable inwards

and new front cables.. also point the cable inward so it runs free off the wireharness

now we can do a intake seal test... yep these leak to

dis conneting the top side

W-brace loose

old style sidestand... just checking :-) yep was loose

could get it out with out losening the stand it self

cleaned and red loctite

bugger.. pivot broke any way.. and this was just a little more than hand tight ... ok will modifiy the stand to fit the new style pivot pin

on with the intake seals . throttle cables off

engine supported and front bolt out

with the engine down.. acces to the throttle body.. loosening the bolts with a cut off 1/4 allen key

yep defenaly leaking

little bite marks

cleaned and new gaskets .. tighten the flanges evenly

engine up and w-brace in place. cleaning the threads.. as the screw came out very difficult

cable connected and adjusting the free play on the lever

hooking in the throttle cables

and stack back on

side stand modified to acept the new style solid pivot pin

and pulling the spring on

contact... checked the tps... still ok... she runs sweet ..

just a little oil check as the customer asked this.. could do with a little ... we will make a apointment for service soon
