ok battery.., defenaly needs replacement for a better start... the CCA ( cranking power ) is way below normal , and you notice this while starting , a fast way to ruwn the sprag clutch for the starter — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

on all leads.. looks like the stator is half cooked, still charging some.. but not good anymore, as i suspected the running issues could well come from to low voltage — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

so airbox off .. stock filter dirty .. will replace it — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

this bike is a eary 0p, as the injector fuel line is still plactic.. the later ones are steel.. becarefull with the plastic ones the connection pipe will break easy — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

the active air controller cable is removed.. but the throttle plates are not connected to getter.. i will do so — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

you need to hands to pull the cover off due to the magnets.. look out for the balace gear shim plate , it can come off to — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

as we are replacing the stator .. i cut the wires ao i can use these as pulling wires for the new cable — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

sprag bolts loose , and rotor nut off — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

it can take some wiggleing to get the rotor off, as the use loctite needs to break loose — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

cable guide stator loose — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

and old stator out.. this can be hard. due to the fact the wires are bedded in slicone — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

clean the sprag bolts to remove the old loctite — bijTwin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

do this also for the ring — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

clean and starter lube.. sprag clutch back on — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

mount oil jetted rotor .. — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

line up the bolt holes by turning the sprag ring ( will only go one way ) and use loctite in the 6 bolts — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

loctite on the nut and tighten the lot — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

little starter lube in the gears — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

new gasket on — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

removed the old silicone, and put in a bed off new silicone — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

put the rotor in, not in place , first the wire guide screws i — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

i started to use red loctite on the stator screws to.. as i shave heard these did come out a few times — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

little silicone on the gaither to help seal — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

hold the neutral switch / side stand wire out the way while you slide on the cover , hold it firm.. the magnets will put it on — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

cover screws back in and tighen.. oil line back in the cooler — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

timing sensor in the hole — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

and wires pulled to the top — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

chin spoiler back on — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

lock wired the throttle shafts to getter — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

the idle air hose put a ziptie on it so it will come off that easy — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

baseplate back on.. check if the throttle will not bind on the base plate — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

k&n filter on — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

nice voltage stays now about volts even with bought fans running... better... now test ride — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
