split the wire harness at the front , disconnect the connectors and you need to cut free the horn wires— at Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

free the stator cable , if you wonder why it is so hard to pull this through .. a big angle needs to be made

checking and note the position of the shims

and loosening and removing the head bolts

rear piston has only a fraction of the play of the front one
