stripping top side.. ok it has been more than 16 000 km when i last openened the airbox.. the piston rings are starting to wear out... will clean the air box for now , and check again with 8000 service.. — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

broke way to many TQ bits... high impact bits and airwrench save wrist bolts and time — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

trying the threads with the bolts by hand.. they would not turn by hand.. i will clean the treads — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

tighten the rear pully bolts, and use loctite as the pully can turn.. as the holes are bigger than the bolts.. the clamping force is what holds it — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

the locking plate will alsways fit, use loctite on these screws.. have seen these come loose and destoy a belt — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

and header bolts off .. with stud.. perfect.. better than snapping theme off.. small trick tighten first , than loosen — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

now what kind of gaskets will you use ? Stock pipe rounded end , use the tappered gaskets, aftermarket straight end headers.. flat performance gaskets — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

yo usee the tappered gasket is always sticking out in the port hole — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

use a heavy hammer.. and try to tap these out evenly — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

i could not turn these by hand anymore... for shit and giggles.. remove the dust seals ... corroded bearings — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

well the new ones... in my opinion way to little grease.. it is not a high speed bearing... — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

i fill theme with grease, so they will better stand to watter trying to seap in — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

i made some stamps for these bearings very easy— bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

tripple t back on and 1 leg in.. tightening the stem nut to pretension the steering head bearings — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

taking apart the front leg to replace the oil seal — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.

fork to getter and closing the top cap — bij Twin Motorcycles Buell Support forever.
