This purchase is for a set of spool adapters for the above models. Lifting the rear of a bike is uniquely challenging. The swing-arms have no threaded holes for spools and are at an angle. Without spools the bike can be difficult to lift with a stand. Once lifted, it can be unstable. The angle on the swing-arms makes it worse. It can cause the bike to slip off the stand and fall. T-Rex spool adapters are made to meet this challenge. They are designed to securely attach to the swing-arms and allow safely lifting of the rear wheel using a paddock stand. You will be able to remove your rear wheel or lube your chain as well, no other manufacturer allows this. They also serve as swingarm sliders, which can take some of the impact away from the swingarm in the event of a fall or tip over. The brackets and spools are made out of aircraft grade silver anodized aluminum. The adapters come in silver only.
