This set up does not compress your expensive shocks or suspension system. Whereas other tie downs compress your shocks and cause damage to your suspension's internal components during a long ride. Keep in mind you will still need a front wheel chock to keep the front end of the bike secure. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.
